Last unidentified deceased identified, whereabouts of Ayushma still unknown
The remaining last non identified deceased pulled out from the last Saturday’s Bus plunge has also been identified. As told by the Police the casualty was identified after her family member approached for its responsible. The woman is learned to be 25 yrs. old Durga Bhujel from Khotang, Dubepol V.D.C-1 who was currently residing in Chakrapath, Kathmandu.
Also the another deceased Kiran Shrestha, who was identified before, is learned to be the authorized co-publisher of Nepal Press Council and the active member of the Council since Poush 2057 B.S. The body was later kept in the Press Council’s premises where the Council members, people from Nepal Press Federation, Revolutionary Press Federation, Information Bureau as well as reporters attended to pay homage.
Whereas whereabouts of little girl,Ayushma Thapa, daughter of the injured mother Bishnu Kumari Thapa is still unknown. It is believed to be among the swept victim of the swollen river.
Out of 10 injured passengers 2 were discharged after normal treatment in Damauli’s medical centers whereas others are still in Manipal Hospital, Pokhara. Those hospitalized are 21 yrs. old bus-driver Basanta Thapa of Anbukhaireni-5, 36 yrs. old Bishnu Kumari Thapa of Vays-11, 24 yrs. old Suman Shrestha of Tharpu-4, 45 yrs. old Keshav Bahadur Thapa of Manpang-6, 56 yrs. old Padam Bahadur Kami of Nawalparasi but currently residing in Amarapuri-2, 20 yrs. old Pabitra Sapkota of Bhanu-5, 24 yrs. old Suresh shrestha of Syangja-6, 30 yrs. old Smriti Dhakal of Chitwan, 18 yrs. old Ranjana Shrestha of Sindhupalchwok and 67 yrs. old Gangaram Shrestha of Khotang-Diktel.
