Samser Bdr. Lamsal of Tanahun attempting to set the Guiness Book of World Record here in Damauli

After encrypting his name on Guiness Book of World Record riding the bike for 25 hrs. long nonstop now the wish of Mr. Samser Bahadur Lamsal, retired Nepal Police resident of Mirlung VDC-4 Bayapani, on attempting to set the new Guiness Book of World Record of  riding

the motorcycle on 105 mtr. long fire blazed tunnel has come alive at tomorrow, 24th Nov. 2012, on Damauli’s B.P. Banbatika ground.

Till date the record is 103 mtr. long set on 10 August 2012 by South African duo rider intrepid photographer Enrico Shoeman and veteran motorsport journalist Andre de Kock. They rode on Kawasaki powere Australian sidecar.

It is learned that there’ll also b an entertainment programmes before the grand show of riding bike on 105 mtr. engulfed tunnel so its expected to be ticket show. For the programme these days most popular tele-artists ‘Dhurmus’ with his wife ‘Suntali’ of famous tele-program ‘Meri Bassai’, singer Anju Panth, plus various other show with local artist like Nawraj Thapa are also expected to perform at the stage.  The barricade and bamboo made tunnels are already being set up but looks lacking of proper management of the grand event. The contestant Mr. Lamsal himself was seen on the ground managing things as no other organizers could be seen around at the ground. He also poured a sour feeling about struggling of getting help from other committes for managing Guiness Book of World Record issue. For the particular show the particular bike, Korean made Hyosung 250cc, was also bought by himself at only 40% less from the Hyosung Showroom which he was expecting better than this.

It’s not like national record attempt, it’s a prestigious Guiness Book of World Record setting so the particular particular commitee members should show some helping hand and encourage it which it lacks as always in our country Nepal. Let’s all go to the event and encourage him to make it succesfull and enlighten our place Tanahun as well as Nepal. All the best wishes Mr. Samser Bdr. Lamsal from
